It has happened!! Our new pantry is finally done and I finished reorganizing my kitchen last night. After months of disarray is it MARVELOUS to have everything where it should be! Take a look at the transformation:
We started with this: a plain ole' closet where we stuffed all our randoms
We got all our supplies in and prepped them for installation

My job was painting the boards. Dad and Pat cut and put them in. Then I went back a spackled over the screws and painted some more!

Then it all came together and we made this!!

I bought jars from Hobby Lobby to put our pasta and essential baking supplies in. I also used candle jars ($5 from Wal-Mart) for all my different kinds of chocolate chips.

I etched all the jars with things in them that are hard to tell apart from one another like flour and self-rising flour. |

There's even a space to keep all the homemade apple sauce and apple butter the hubs made last summer! |

We left one side without shelves to store our tall cleaning supplies |

We decided to put one shelf on the very top of the vacant side to store light-weight bags |
I just love it!!
